From 29 September to 1 October, the Tetrik team was at the NEC in Birmingham for UK Construction Week, one of the biggest events in the UK construction calendar. It was a big moment for us. Tetrik was founded in 2025, and this was our chance to show the TetrikPod to the industry in person.
The key word here isΒ modular. Unlike a poured concrete foundation which is fixed, singular, and defined by what was spec’d at the outset, a truly modular ground foundation can be configured, scaled, and reconfigured to meet the precise requirements of any given deployment. That is the principle at the heart of the TetrikPod.
We were proud to be part of the Futurebuild Innovation Showcase. The showcase was new for 2026 and featured a hand-picked group of exhibitors showing some of the most innovative products in the built environment. Futurebuild chose the TetrikPod as one of five innovations to feature ahead of the show. They said it “dramatically reduces labour costs, eliminates the need for lifting machinery, and simplifies logistics,” whether you’re putting in EV charging points, ANPR cameras, street furniture or telecoms equipment.
Seeing a foundation system in person is very different from reading about it. Visitors could see the TetrikPod for themselves and find out how it compares with traditional pre-cast concrete foundations.
The TetrikPod is a modular ground foundation, designed and made in Britain. It removes the need for cranes, specialist labour and complicated logistics. Installers need only standard groundworks skills, so projects can move faster without cutting corners. The range has four versions, the TetrikPod-1, 2, 4 and 6, and supports a wide range of uses: EV charging, ANPR and security posts, street lighting and furniture, electrical enclosures, telecoms and 5G equipment, traffic and transport infrastructure, battery storage equipment, and semi-permanent or trial installations.
Many of the questions we heard were ones we hear often. If it’s faster and easier to install, is something being compromised? How does it work with real site constraints, access and logistics? Does it actually make the installer’s job easier? These questions sit at the heart of why we built the TetrikPod. Speed only matters if the foundation still performs over the long term. That’s why the TetrikPod is built to give infrastructure a stable, durable base while cutting out the labour, logistics and site complexity that so often slow projects down.Β
A big thank you to everyone who visited stand FB7A, to Futurebuild for including us in the Innovation Showcase, and to the UK Construction Week team for running such a well-organised event. We’re now following up with the many people we met, and we look forward to turning those conversations into projects.
If we missed you at the NEC, or you’d like to carry on the conversation, we’d love to hear from you. Download the TetrikPod datasheet for full technical specifications, or get in touch with the team at tetrik.co.uk.
